The Malayan apple, or makopa, is a bell-shaped fruit that grows in the Philippines and is known for its crisp pulp and mild flavor. Many Filipinos grow it in their backyards or find it in local neighborhoods. It is said that the darker its color, the sweeter the fruit becomes. Its scientific name was first published in 1938.

This ink has a pretty magenta base with a lively leaf-green sheen.
