The Maskara Festival was conceived in part due to the sugarcane crisis in Negros. In 1890, the Spaniards divided the Negros region into two provinces: Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental. These regional divisions remain today.

This ink has a pale purple base accentuated by pretty pink undertones.
