Vinta Inks - Carnival - Gold Dust (Piloncitos 1521) - 30 mL
Before Spanish colonization, the various ethnic groups in the Philippines primarily used a barter system for trade. However, when it came to international trade, pre-colonial Filipinos used different forms of currency, including cowry shells and precious metals. One of the earliest forms of coinage used in the Philippines was small gold beads with stamped inscriptions called piloncitos. This color evokes the image of aged copper that develops a greenish patina over time.
This ink has a grey-green base with a fine dusting of bronze shimmer.
