Romblon has a lucrative marble industry thanks to its abundance of high-quality, Italian-grade marble. As a result, it has been dubbed the "Marble Capital of the Philippines." In 1582, the Spanish chronicler Miguel de Loarca first used the name "Romblon" to describe this island province in the central Philippines.

This ink has a black base overlaid with a marbled sheen of shiny black, underscored with dark purple undertones.
