Celebrating 20 years of Sailor’s ink-making heritage, this commemorative collection pays tribute to the brand’s renowned Ink Blend events first launched in 2005. What began as an opportunity for stationery enthusiasts to create their own custom fountain pen inks has grown into a celebrated tradition shaped by the creativity and expertise of Sailor’s master blenders. Created by four master blenders across different generations, this collection brings together their individual visions and stories in a series of distinctive colors that honor two decades of ink-making artistry.

The collection features four unique inks, each with its own story. Kanpai (Cheers) by Mr. Ishimaru is a deep, sophisticated red with playful hints of pink. Shukkou (Departure) by Mr. Takahashi captures the changing hues of the sea, from sunlit green shallows to the deeper waters beyond. Akatsuki (Dawn) by Ms. Tetsusashi transitions from vibrant blue to reddish-purple as it dries, revealing a subtle crimson sheen. Toku no Umi (Distant Sea) by Ms. Iwasaki evokes the calm and anticipation of gazing toward the horizon with its serene oceanic blue and delicate pink undertones.

Each ink comes in an elegant 20ml bottle featuring original label artwork and lettering created by the master blenders themselves. The four-bottle set is presented in commemorative packaging adorned with the Sailor’s Voyage ship emblem and includes a keepsake leaflet sharing the stories behind the collection.
