Point downwards and run water through the nib.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePlace the nib, pointing down, directly in the ink cleaning solution bottle. If the nib floats, close the lid on the bottle and gently shake up and down until the nib is completely immersed.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eLeave to soak for 9-12 hours.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e \u003cspan\u003eRinse under running water as per step 1. The solution may leave a white powdery residue if allowed to dry. Rinse the nib thoroughly. The original ink consistency will return with use.
