The Hobonichi Techo HON is the hardcover version of the Original and Cousin planners, available in A6 and A5 respectively. Its contents are the same as the Hobonichi Techo Original and Cousin with daily pages covering January 1 to December 31 and has Japanese quotes on the bottom of the page. It also includes the same yearly calendar, monthly calendars, yearly index, weekly layouts for the A5, and bonus pages.

This special edition page-per-day A6 size Hobonichi Techo Original book was created in collaboration with ONE PIECE magazine, which dives into the charms of the hit manga series to help fans further enjoy the world of One Piece. To celebrate the Year of the Sheep for 2027, this cover features the Going Merry, the iconic ship that the carries the Straw Hats on their adventures. The hard cover comes in a cheery orange, and it’s made to be durable, yet slightly flexible. The year 2027 is foil-pressed in silver.

Woven into this shiny necktie weave is the Merry's figurehead looking straight ahead and at angle from above. Some variations show Luffy hugging the figure head or Zoro taking a nap on deck. The pattern also features the mast, the Jolly Roger, the tangerine tree, the Going Merry logo, and even the Klabautermann of the Merry!

This edition features illustrations and quotes from the series while retaining all the features that make the standard Hobonichi Techo so easy to use. Each daily page features a quote taken from Volumes 1 through 113 of ONE PIECE, organized by monthly themes such as "Straw Hat Crew," "The Two Wings (Zoro & Sanji)," "ASL (Ace, Sabo, & Luffy)," "Young Generation," "Middle Generation," "Elder Generation," "Heroines," "Animals," "Rivals," and "Humor." 

New with this year's edition, the December pages feature quotes from ONE PIECE creator Eiichiro Oda. The quotes are taken from a rqange or sources, such as ONE PIECE magazine, the "SBS" reader Q&A columns in the manga, and the Color Walk series of art books.

There are informational pages in the back of the book that were created under the direction of the ONE PIECE magazine editing department:

  • One Piece Chronology - A timeline summarizing the events of One Piece up until volume 114.
  • 30 Very Specific Things We Love About One Piece - 30 fan-favorite scenes created in collaboration with the official ONE PIECE YouTube channel program "Nakama ga iru yo Tube!!!!"
  • One Piece Character Age List - A fun reference chart listing the ages of ONE PIECE characters
  • WANTED - Wanted posters where you can fill in the face and reward amount.

    • One Day Per Page: The planner features a format with a page devoted to each day. There’s lots of open space to plan the day ahead and enjoy recording your memories and activities. Think of the pages as containers for random ideas, with a clear record of the date. Paste magazine clippings, ticket stubs and photos to make the techo something completely unique – your imagination is the only limit.
    • Yearly Calendar: A convenient double-page spread shows the yearly calendars for 2025 and 2026 at a glance for a useful reference when planning ahead.

    • Just like the Hobonichi Techo Original and Cousin, the HON uses the same lay-flat stitch binding method and opens to 180 degrees so you can write in it without having to hold the pages down.

    • The HON has two attached bookmarks—one navy and one beige—so you can mark your place in frequently used pages. Included with every HON is a transparent pencil board that has a pen loop attached. Use the pencil board as an underlay to have a flat writing surface on every page, or as a bookmark to keep your place in any part of the book.
