Mariko Fukuoka is a Japanese illustrator based in Kyoto. She is a mother of two and graduated from the Department of Spatial Design at Kyoto University of Art and Design. After working as a graphic designer at an interior goods store, she has been working as a freelance illustrator since 2015. She creates illustrations for advertisements, magazines, websites, packaging, and paper goods.

 

    About Cozyca:

    Cozyca was started in 2013 by the well-established stationery company, Hyogensha, which was founded in 1948. Cozyca was launched to promote the works of independent artists and inspire writers through the production of beautiful stationery that depicts the view from the different artists' worlds. In Kyoto, Cozyca's store "Hiraeth" displays all the artist collaboration stationery designs they have produced, as well as exhibits different artists' works in their gallery on the top floor.
